Medicare Plans

SCCU Insurance Agency, a Subsidiary of Soo Co-op Credit Union, offers Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans, as well as Dental, Vision, Hospital Indemnity and Cancer Plans.

When it comes to Medicare, one size definitely does not fit all. What works for your spouse or neighbor may not be the best fit for you. There is a lot to learn once you start exploring Medicare and the many options available.

Some common questions are:

  • What is the difference between Medicare Parts A, B, C and D?
  • When can you enroll in a plan, or switch plans?
  • Can you save money with a Medicare Plan?
  • Could you be eligible for Vision, Dental, Hearing or other benefits?
  • Are you in a prescription drug plan that works best for you with your current medications and pharmacy?

Whether you are just turning 65 or are in need of a plan review, our licensed agent, Heidi Kinnear, is here to help you understand your needs, answer common questions, conduct plan reviews and enroll in plans that best suit your needs.

Here are some additional tips to help you get started with your Medicare coverage.

  • Call Social Security to confirm your eligibility. If you are already collecting Social Security, you’ll automatically be enrolled in Medicare Part A and B when you turn 65.
  • If you are employed, ask your employer about company-sponsored health benefits.
  • Make an appointment with Heidi to review your options. Lean on SCCU Insurance Agency as your local, trusted resource.
